Adamsons celebrates 40 years of success – milestone event to be held in Dukinfield

Adamsons, the home transformation expert, is celebrating four decades of industry success this month.

From humble beginnings in 1984, the company has grown into a renowned name in home renovations, completing over 6,000 projects and employing a team of 20 staff members who continue to uphold the company’s commitment to quality, care, and customer service.

First established in 1984 by Colin and Susan Moors in their family home, Adamsons is a second-generation family business, now being led by Rachel Moors.

What began as a small operation quickly gained a reputation for its attention to detail and empathetic approach to clients’ needs. By 1990, the company had outgrown its initial setup, prompting the construction of its own head office in Dukinfield, Greater Manchester. This was followed a year later by the opening of a dedicated showroom to showcase its new interiors service, allowing Adamsons to expand its offerings from construction to complete home transformations.

Over the past 40 years, Adamsons has seen considerable growth and success, not only in terms of the number of home transformation projects completed across Greater Manchester and Cheshire but also in the loyalty and talent of its team.

To mark this significant milestone, Adamsons will be hosting a 40th anniversary event on Saturday, October 12, from 10.30am – 4pm, at its newly revamped showroom at Adamson House, Outram Road, Dukinfield, Cheshire SK16 4XE.

The event will feature expert talks from industry professionals on current home design trends, cooking demonstrations, showroom tours and live entertainment.

Rachel Moors, managing director of Adamsons, said: “When my parents started Adamsons back in 1984, they set out with a vision to deliver construction services that offered excellent customer service. That vision quickly resonated with our customers, and by the early ’90s, we had grown into a company capable of handling every aspect of home transformation.

“Reaching 40 years is a testament to the hard work of our team and the trust our clients have placed in us. While much has changed in the industry since we began, our core values of integrity, empathy, and customer service have remained. These principles have been the backbone of our success, and we are incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved. As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to many more years of serving our community and continuing the legacy my parents began.”
