Amad Diallo says he removed all references to Manchester United from his social media accounts so he can focus on the holy month of Ramadan.
The Ivorian raised eyebrows last night when he erased all mentions of United from his timeline, and changed his bio on X to read in French ‘this will all end’, leaving only pictures of his spell on loan at Sunderland last season.

Fans quickly picked up on it with suggestions it was due to his frustration at a lack of playing time at Old Trafford.
But the 21-year-old said on Snapchat: “I’ve deactivated my social media for a month just to focus on Ramadan.
“Stop the hatred, there’s nothing wrong with what I did. It’s holy month for me and social media is a place where there are bad things to see during fasting.”
Diallo was linked with a move back to the Stadium of Light in January but Ten Hag reportedly convinced him he would receive more playing time at United, particularly with fellow right-wingers Facundo Pellistri and Jason Sancho out on loan and Antony struggling for form.
But he has failed to make much of an impact, making just three substitute appearances. Diallo has 16 months left on his United contract.
