Cristiano Ronaldo has been handed a one-match ban for making an obscene gesture towards Al Shabab fans on Sunday.
The incident took place after Al Nasser’s 3-2 win with the former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward cupping his ear and thrusting his elbow in front of his pelvic area.

The Al Shabab fans were believed to be chanting for Ronaldo’s career-long rival Lionel Messi at the time.
Ronaldo, who was also fined £6,300, will miss Al Nassr’s game with Al Hazem today as they try to claw back a seven-point deficit to Pro League leaders Al Hilal.
It is not the first time Ronaldo has appeared to be irritated by Messi chants. In April 2023, he grabbed his genitals in the direction of Al Hilal fans but escaped sanction after his club claimed he was indicating he had a groin injury.
