“Steel Nerve” Exhibition Featuring Banksy and Renowned Artists Comes to Northamptonshire

For the first time ever, Northamptonshire will host a remarkable exhibition featuring famous artists, including Banksy. Rooftop Arts Centre, in collaboration with Brandler Galleries, is set to present “Steel Nerve,” an Exhibition of Contemporary Urban Street Art.

This unprecedented event in Northamptonshire brings together a globally acclaimed group of artists, including Banksy, Blek Le Rat, Connor Brothers, Copyright, Ben Eine, Tracy Emin, Damien Hirst, My Dog Sighs, and more. Their artworks will be showcased at the Rooftop Arts Centre in Corby.

The “Steel Nerve” exhibition will run from November 1st to January 28th, offering art enthusiasts an opportunity to experience these iconic urban street art pieces. The arts centre welcomes visitors from Wednesday to Sunday, between 11 am and 4 pm.

Tickets for the exhibition can be purchased on the art centre’s website, with advance booking recommended. Alternatively, tickets can be booked by telephone at 01523 267010. A limited number of tickets will also be available for purchase at the door.

Rooftop Arts is a not-for-profit charity that has been actively contributing to the town’s artistic scene for a decade. Their mission is to establish a space where the community can connect with the arts, participate in workshops, and enjoy exhibitions. The Rooftop Arts Centre also provides 15 resident artist studios, offering local artists a platform to create, showcase their work, and mentor emerging talents.

Dinah Kazakoff, Gallery Director, expressed their pride in presenting an exhibition of such caliber in Corby. They aim to enhance the town’s cultural profile and make the arts accessible to all in the community. In addition to viewing the artworks, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in free workshops inspired by the exhibition, allowing them to create their own street art with guidance from professional artists.

John Brandler, of Brandler Galleries, expressed his excitement about collaborating with this remarkable art project in Corby. He highlighted Corby’s artistic ascent, attributing it to the creativity and energy of the Rooftop Arts Centre.

The Rooftop Arts Centre is conveniently located in Corby Town Centre, easily accessible via various transportation options, including train, bus, and car. Visitors can reach Corby by train from London St Pancras Station or by bus via local and national services. The town is also accessible by car via major roads such as the A14, M6, M1, and A1, with ample parking options available.
