Former Manchester United exec joins Venditan board

Tony Sheridan, the former Retail Brand Director at Manchester United, has joined Manchester-based eCommerce agency, Venditan. as a Non-Executive Director.

Sheridan, formerly the Ideal Shopping Chief Operating Officer and Main Board Director of Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, joins the board alongside Venditan Managing Director Chris Maule and Commercial Director John Coyne.

The eCommerce and EPoS software specialists, who count Wyevale Garden Centres, Sigma Sports and Nest, among their client base, have also increased headcount at the agency thanks to a number of new client wins. These include the UK’s biggest Chandlery retailer, Force 4, and London boutique designer Katie & Jo.

With a number of vacancies within Venditan’s technical and client service teams to fill, the agency will continue investment into talent across Greater Manchester, and are hopeful that Sheridan’s extensive network will open up further opportunities.

Chris Maule said, “We’re delighted to welcome Tony on our journey, and we are excited about how his vast experience and successes can help Venditan continue to grow. He’s a great asset to have on board.’

Sheridan said, “I’m delighted to be working with such a talented and fast-growing team in the Manchester tech space. Their eCommerce and Retail platform really does solve the omni-channel challenge unlike no other software that I’ve seen.”
