Datacentreplus welcome Lewis Stonier to Engineering Team

Manchester-based Datacentreplus has announced that Lewis Stonier is the newest member to join our technical team here in Manchester. Lewis will primarily be providing first-line support to customers who have dedicated servers with us.

Lewis’ previous work included his position as an level 1 support agent at IBM, where he provided technical support to some of their larger retail clients.  After two years at IMB, Lewis decided to move into something a little more technical and away from retail. He joined Melbourne Hosting (now Iomart) where he was introduced to the wonderful world of data centres.

Lewis loves problem-solving and has enjoyed working in environments that test his passion for technology, where he found a love for Linux, and chose to focus his skills and knowledge in that area.

Lewis on joining Datacentreplus said: “It’s great to be working at Datacentreplus and I especially love that I am encouraged to always speak to our customers, instead of just using a ticketing system. I have a great team of colleagues supporting me and that makes a big difference”.

Communications Manager Rachel Waters commenting on Lewis’ arrival said: “As the company continues to grow, we are thrilled to have Lewis on board and it gives us great satisfaction that we can attract such great talent. For our customers, it means we can provide even quicker responses to any problems that might arise”.
