SkyParlour wins gold at Emerging Payments Awards 2018

The team at leading Fintech communications agency, SkyParlour, is celebrating after winning Gold at the Emerging Payments Awards 2018.

Hosted by the Emerging Payments Association (EPA), the awards celebrate innovation, collaboration and emerging payments, recognising the companies that have made significant advances in Fintech and helped make the Fintech industry worth more than £6.6 billion to the UK economy. This year’s winners were announced at a glittering ceremony at The Hilton, Park Lane, London on Wednesday 10 October, attended by 700 of the industry’s most senior opinion-formers and decision-makers.

The agency won in the Best Professional Service Organisation supporting Emerging Payments category, beating off competition from a number of high-profile businesses to bag the trophy.

SkyParlour collected the award for its unique position as a specialist in communications for the payments, eCommerce, financial services and data security sectors. With this expertise, the agency has achieved success for global clients in these sectors over the last 12 months. These include: launching the new Intrapay brand globally; generating coverage for clients in major international newspapers, such as the Wall Street Journal; and creating impactful lead generation campaigns for clients, such as Ingenico ePayments.

Judges praised the agency’s profound insight into its clients’ businesses, as well as its boundary-pushing, laser-targeted content-based campaigns that have driven positive engagement for clients and generated vital sales leads.

Speaking about the accolade, Angela Yore, Managing Director and Co-Founder of SkyParlour, commented: “The Emerging Payments Awards is one of the most prestigious in the Fintech calendar, and it is a real privilege to receive such an honour. The award is testament to the hard work of everyone on the SkyParlour team, and their dedication to delivering the best possible results for all of our clients. I very much look forward to seeing what the team achieves next year.”

Fellow Managing Director and Co-Founder, Kimberley Waldron, added: “Since we founded SkyParlour a decade ago, we’ve been focused on improving the way the payments industry communicates with target audiences, ensuring we help achieve clients’ business goals. It’s great, then, to see this strategy pay off for our clients and to be recognised alongside them – our unique expertise and insight into their business needs means we can create communications programmes that really supercharge their growth, so they can continue to thrive into the future.”
