Toast PR in technology double win to end year

National and regional PR agency Toast PR has recently won PR accounts for two prominent Manchester technology firms. Broadstone  – the first Manchester business to receive Northern Powerhouse Investment Funding (NPIF) and The Landing – the digital and technology hub at MediaCity UK.

Toast, which has offices in Manchester, Leeds and London will be helping Broadstone to launch its new security recruitment marketplace for jobseekers and employers in the £5billion private security industry.

Julia Mitchell, managing director of Toast, said: “Broadstone is a dynamic SME with innovative products and services, proven by the investment by the NPIF. As well as media relations activity and social media promotion to Broadstone target audiences, we will also be working collaboratively with agency Engage Hub on a video-led campaign in the New Year.

“This is the latest in a line of new business wins for Toast PR, which include The Landing @MediaCity UK, building on what is now a five year background in technology clients. It’s such a dynamic and exciting sector to be involved in and the relationships we hold with key technology media and influencers are proving to be a great asset to us.”

Toast PR are working with client The Landing @MediaCity UK to raise awareness of The Landing as a hub for both innovative digital and tech start up businesses and to highlight its work with the surrounding community in Salford. At the heart of MediaCityUK, The Landing is a workspace, community, business support, user experience testing labs, maker lab and events as well as a technology enterprise incubator for high-growth companies at the heart of MediaCityUK.

Maya Dibley, head of programmes and partnerships at The Landing, said: “We’re delighted to have Toast PR on board as we develop our new ten year strategy for The Landing. Toast was appointed after a competitive procurement process where the team demonstrated a real passion and excitement for the growing technology cluster in MediaCityUK and Greater Manchester. We felt Toast’s expertise both with growing technology businesses, and with technology and enterprise communities was a perfect combination to help us in our mission to support growing companies in Salford.”
