Stockport Homes CEO named as a top visionary in housing

Helen McHale, Chief Executive of Stockport Homes Group has been listed as Visionary in in the prestigious, UK wide ‘Who’s Who in Development’ list by Inside Housing magazine. The annual list showcases the ‘heavy hitters’ who are driving the delivery of new homes.

The Chief Executive is praised by the magazine for continuing innovation at Stockport Homes, which has doubled in size since its inception.

Established Stockport Homes in 2005, Helens vision ensured the ALMO was the first to start developing in 2009. The launch of the new development company during 2017; ‘Viaduct’, in partnership with Stockport Council has ambitious building plans for the future, delivering much needed high quality and affordable housing.

Helens passion for housing has led to her becoming the vice-chair of the influential Greater Manchester Housing Providers group.

Robin Burman, Chair of Stockport Homes Board said: “We are delighted that Helen has been recognised for her vision and innovation.  It is testament to the hard work, dedication and passion she shows for our customers and community.
