CIM has today released details of the fifteenth category in their 2017 Northern Awards, which will be held in Manchester on Thursday 09 November.
The CIM Northern Awards, now in its fourth year and sponsored by the Marketing Trust, celebrates the insight, creativity and success of the Northern marketing industry, the outstanding campaigns and the talent from across the North of England, including the Isle of Man. There are 17 award categories, 13 of which are open to entries, and the evening event will once again be hosted by TV’s Andy Crane.
Diane Earles, Network Manager for CIM, said “We are thrilled to have Paul Skinner, who has won this award twice, to judge our Consultant / Freelancer of the Year category. Paul runs the Agency of the Future, a collaborative consultancy, think-tank and spin-off generator that helps clients and partners create Collaborative Advantage to drive organisational success, create economic value and improve peoples’ lives. He also founded Pimp My Cause, which uses cause related marketing challenges to enhance the marketing capabilities of individual marketers and marketing teams and supports over 2,000 charities and social enterprises with access to pro bono marketing support in the process. In 2014 he was awarded an honorary visiting fellowship at Edge Hill University Business School and his first book on business strategy will be published in 2018.
Paul will be looking for the best consultant or freelance marketer with proven results and testimonials from clients. He said,“Freelancers and consultants play a vital role in sharing, translating and applying insights and ideas that make business work better. I’m looking forward to learning more about the achievements of the award entrants and to celebrating their successes.”
The deadline for Northern Awards entries is 06 October.
